We spend an enormous amount of our time in work, it’s such an important part of our lives. So why would anyone put themselves through the pain of getting up every day and going to a job that they hated?
Jehu Group are striving to create a culture where this doesn’t happen, we want people to want to come to work. This culture is based on six strong company values: Trust, Passion, Collaboration, Quality, Innovation and Sustainability.
Gwilym Hughes, HR Strategic Business Manager commented, “We want people to enjoy their time at work and feel comfortable and confident when faced with the inevitable challenges a construction environment brings. We are a sociable bunch and there is more and more going on for employees to enjoy outside normal work, but the focus is on ensuring employees know their work contribution is appreciated and making a difference for the team. That’s the key to motivation and the reason our staff retention is high.”
The growth of the company over the past year has been staggering and this has been reflected in the recruitment and succession planning of the organisation, along with high staff engagements and retention levels.

This combined with the values of a family firm and a real commitment to responsible business practises means that we are also being recognised as an employer of choice.
