Project: Springfield Court, Church Village
Client name: Trivallis
Client overview: Trivallis, formerly RCT Homes, is one of the largest housing associations in Wales.
Brief description of the scheme: Jehu was contracted to build 40 affordable homes made up of different sized houses and flats. The project involved strip foundations, block and beam floors, timber frame superstructure and floors, pitched concrete tile roofs with face brickwork, render and cladding finishes to the envelope, full plumbing, heating and electrical systems, new drainage system, and infrastructure including a new access road.
Additional information: Insitu attenuation tanks were constructed using local materials to store storm water in heavy storms. This saved on a 20 week delivery time. As part of the stormwater solution, Jehu used Formpave to provide soakaways for water run off.
This scheme has received a Consideration Constructors Scheme national award.
