He said of his appointment: “This is a really exciting opportunity to develop a substantial presence in a new area of operations for the Jehu Group. I am delighted to be taking up the mantle as director and with the group’s strong brand and values will quickly establish us as a construction firm of choice with clients, replicating the success the group has seen in South Wales.”
The group have been awarded the contract to deliver a new £16million Moxy Boutique Hotel in Bristol city centre. New innovative and environmentally friendly build methods will see the Moxy, part of the Marriott portfolio of hotels, play a key part in the continued regeneration plans for the city, next to Bristol’s flagship retail and leisure development, Cabot Circus.
The six-storey modular build will consist of 214 rooms and include a spacious lobby and reception area, bar/restaurant and gymnasium. The scheme has been commissioned by international developers, Vastint and is due to start in September 2019 with the hotel opening in the Autumn of 2020.
Simon Jehu, Managing Director of Development, for Jehu Group, added: “We are proud to welcome Nigel to the Jehu family and to work with him on developing the South West region over the coming months and years.”
