Getting on his bike for charity is a regular occurrence for Bridgend construction boss Marc Jehu, but he admits that his latest charity ride, cycling 1,200km from Barcelona to Monaco for Prostate Cymru, is the biggest challenge to date.
He joined up with the team of charity cyclists in Barcelona from where they started their cycle ride, heading across the Spanish border into the south of France and eventually completing the journey in Monaco.
Many of the cyclists involved have links with Prostate Cymru, and Jehu Project Services has been delighted to continue with an ongoing partnership with the charity to deliver awareness-raising ’Toolbox talks’ to staff as part of health awareness.
Marc said:?“We hope that the charity cycle ride, and the Toolbox talks, will help get the message across to men of all ages working with us about the challenges of this disease and we are pleased to be supporting such a worthwhile charity. The support received has been amazing and I have raised £1,915 so far.”
