National House Building Council (NHBC)

The NHBC  is the leading home warranty and insurance provider offering 10 year warranty in the event of defects arising from defects in the build process. All Jehu Group homes built for sale are sold with a warranty issued by the NHBC or a similar scheme.

Consumer Code for Housebuilders

The Consumer Code for Homebuilders is an industry led scheme which gives protection and rights to purchasers of new homes, ensuring that new homebuyers are treated fairly and are fully informed about their purchase before and after they sign the contract.

Waterstone Homes is registered under the Code and has agreed to comply with the Code’s requirements. The Code benefits both homebuyers and home builders by aiming to improve on the already high levels of customer satisfaction and therefore enhancing the reputation of the industry.

Council of Mortgage Lenders (CML)

The CML is the main trade body representing around 97% of UK mortgage lenders. Membership consists of the nation’s residential lenders including banks, building societies, and other lenders. Lenders will generally lend on a newly built (or newly converted) property only when the property is covered by a warranty scheme (for example, the National House-Building Council (NHBC) Buildmark scheme).

All Jehu Group homes built for sale are sold with a CML certificate.
